Shopping

After the Park Brunch Chandra and I decided to go shopping at Express Avenue.  I was amazed at how confusing the parking garage was.  The only rule to the parking garage was that all the signs were wrong.. haha.  Luckily there were lots of people with radios telling us were to go.  It was more confusing on the way out because there was no one directing us, however once we stopped following the signs we found our way out, we were going against the arrow on the ground.

It was a lot of fun to walk around the mall and see all of the shops.  It was interesting to see what US brands were in the mall.  We saw Levis, Adidas, Reebok, and Wrangler.  After walking around we decided to go into a store called Lifestyle and look at salwar kameez it’s a long top commonly with a lot of embroidery worn with thin cotton pants or leggings.  Chandra and I picked some out we liked and I decided to try them on.  It was fun to try them on and see how I looked in them.  The AC in the mall was really low so I got hot really fast and even got stuck in one of the shirts.. haha.  I didn’t fall in love with any of them so we decided to look for something in Bombay.  

While we were at the mall we also wanted to go see a movie.  However movies are really popular in India especially on the weekends.  By 2 in the afternoon every single movie ticket had been sold, so we didn’t end up going.
